Growing up I always gravitated towards all aspects of the Arts. This led me to study Art Fundamentals and Visual Merchandising at Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. After graduating from Sheridan, I knew I wanted to design and create, but I just didn’t know what. Then I met Ruth Pallek of Metal Mud. She introduced me to and taught me the art of silversmithing and jewelry making.
I love cutting, shaping and molding pieces of silver into beautiful pieces of jewelry. I also use semi-precious as well as precious stones in the creation of my pieces. Transforming raw materials provided by Mother Nature into wearable art is something that I am very passionate about. I draw my inspiration from nature, architecture and the ever-evolving world of fashion.
